Terms of Service

Last updated: September 7, 2026

1. Acceptance

These terms are the agreement between you and GoMeetMe. By creating an account or using the service in any way, you accept these terms together with our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree with them, don't use GoMeetMe.

2. Eligibility

GoMeetMe is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years old — or older where your local law sets a higher age of majority — and able to enter into a binding agreement. You may not use the service if we've previously banned your account. We may ask you to verify your age at any time, and accounts that fail or dodge verification are removed.

3. Your account

Keep your registration information accurate and your login credentials to yourself. Your account is personal: don't sell it, lend it or transfer it to anybody else. One person, one account — shared, sold or farmed accounts get flagged by our fraud systems and removed. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, so if you suspect someone else has access to it, tell us through the contact options inside the app as soon as you can.

4. Acceptable use

GoMeetMe is for live, respectful, one-to-one conversation. You agree not to:

  • break any applicable law, or use the service for anything illegal;
  • harass, threaten, stalk or hate on other users;
  • involve minors in any way — any sexual content involving a minor means an immediate ban and a report to the relevant authorities;
  • blackmail, extort or pressure anyone, including threats to share their images or information;
  • record, screenshot, rebroadcast or distribute another user's call, image or likeness without their consent;
  • spam, advertise or solicit — no commercial promotion, no mass messaging, no affiliate links;
  • ask other users for money, gift cards or financial favors;
  • impersonate another person, run bots, scrape the service or interfere with how it works.

We can remove content and suspend or ban accounts that break these rules. When the violation is serious, that can happen without warning.

5. Virtual items & payments

GoMeetMe may offer paid features, subscriptions or virtual items such as coins or gifts. Prices are shown before you pay, and purchases are processed by the app store or payment provider you check out with. Virtual items are a license, not property: they have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money and can't be transferred between users for value. Except where the law requires otherwise, purchases are final and non-refundable. If a call fails for technical reasons on our side, reach us through the contact options inside the app and we'll make it right.

6. Content & conduct

You keep ownership of what you show and say on GoMeetMe. You give us the limited license we need to operate the service — to host, transmit and display your content to the people you choose to interact with, and nothing more. You're responsible for your own conduct on camera and in chat, and for making sure you have the right to share whatever you share. We may moderate or remove content that violates these terms, but we don't pre-screen private conversations.

7. Privacy

How we collect, use and protect your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

8. Disclaimers

GoMeetMe is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don't promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we don't promise that you'll meet anyone in particular — or anyone at all. Other users' words and actions are their own; we provide reporting and blocking tools and we act on reports, but we can't control what people do before a report reaches us. We don't endorse, verify or background-check every profile — use the same judgment you'd use with anyone you've just met.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, GoMeetMe is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages — lost profits, lost data, hurt feelings from a bad conversation — arising from your use of the service. Where liability can't be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or the minimum amount your local law permits, whichever applies.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time, for any reason. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we can remove the service or parts of it with notice where that's practical. The sections on payments, disclaimers, liability and conduct survive termination — they still apply after an account is gone.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The date at the top always shows the current version, and we'll give notice inside the app before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use GoMeetMe after an update means you accept the new terms.

12. Contact
