Why we built it

We're a small team that has spent years building social and video products, and we kept hitting the same frustration: the bigger these apps got, the lonelier they felt. More swiping, less talking. More features, fewer conversations. So we built the thing we wanted to use ourselves — a place where the shortest path between two strangers is a face-to-face hello. We didn't set out to reinvent human connection. We just removed everything that was getting in its way.
